Strengthened application security at Classera
A Cyber Security internship at Classera focused on practical web and mobile application testing, risk reporting, and ethical hacking techniques.
From July through September 2024, I joined Classera as a Cyber Security Intern in Cairo. The internship gave me practical experience examining how web and mobile applications can be assessed for security weaknesses.
Assessing application security
I conducted penetration testing on company websites and mobile applications to identify security vulnerabilities. After assessing the findings, I analyzed and reported security risks with recommendations for mitigation, helping connect technical observations to practical next steps.
The role also introduced me to ethical hacking techniques and to the web and mobile application security testing tools used to improve system defenses. It strengthened my understanding of how careful testing, clear reporting, and responsible practice work together in application security.
